Stag dos have changed dramatically over the last 20 or so years and what was once a night out before the wedding has transformed into a weekend away with the lads in alcohol-fuelled mayhem. To go along with the trips abroad, many stag parties now also decide to incorporate some activities into their crazy weekends and today we are going to take a look at some awesome ideas for activities on your weekend away.
I’ve been on quite a few stag parties of late and indulged in many really cool activities that I think could work well on your weekend away. The last party I went to was in Latvia and should you happen to go to Riga for your stag do then I can assure you that you will have one hell of a time. Without further ado, here are some of the coolest activities to do on your bachelor weekend.
Shooting
What better way to get in touch with your masculine side then heading out with the boys to a shooting range! Many European destinations have somewhat more relaxed ideas around shooting laws and you can head out with your group to fire off some round of some truly terrifying guns. Most locations offer a variety of packages with different types of guns and amount of ammo. On your shooting trip you can expect to fire off guns such as magnums, glocks, rifles and even the insane AK-47.
Paintballing
As with most groups of lads, there is fierce competition amongst them and the best way to exercise this is with a good paintball shootout. Head off into the countryside and get your team together as you seek to blast the opposition with as much paint as you can get your hands on. You will need to be sly and smart to win the fight and once you’ve cleaned yourselves up you can all go for a beer and chat about who maimed who.
Go-Karting
In keeping with the competition side of things, why not take your group to a local race track, jump in some go-karts and battle it out for the honor of the fastest driver. Many of the go-karts you can drive now have petrol motors and you can reach high speeds as you weave through the circuit seeking to overtake or give a little nudge to your mates. Go-karting is a great way to get the adrenalin pumping and set light to the fierce competition amongst you all.
Beer Tasting
Many European cities have great histories of beer and a great way to kickstart your night out is to head off on a beer tasting tour. Not only will you get the chance to learn about different styles of beer and the making process but you can also get the chance to indulge in plenty of beer drinking as part of the tour. Education and alcohol go hand in hand on these tours and they will be a great way to get the party started.
